The Profile Gas Cutter Machine is a portable, mechanically guided gas cutting system for producing repeatable profiles in suitable steel plate. Its articulated pantograph-style mechanism follows a template or circular guide while the cutting torch reproduces the required path on the workpiece.
Model TLP PGC is specified for steel plate from 5 to 100 mm thick. The supplied data lists a maximum square profile of 500 x 500 mm, rectangle capacities of 400 x 900 mm or 450 x 750 mm, a cutting length of 1200 mm and a maximum circumferential diameter of 600 mm.
The machine supports profile cutting without the programming requirements of CNC equipment, making it suitable for repetitive fabrication work, repair shops and small- to medium-batch plate processing. Its compact arrangement can be positioned near the job while the stable base supports controlled template-following movement.
Actual capacity, edge quality and productivity depend on steel grade and thickness, template accuracy, fuel gas, oxygen purity and pressure, nozzle selection, torch setup, travel speed and operator practice. Appropriate ventilation, flashback protection, personal protective equipment and fire controls are required during operation.
